Missing Children’s Day / Dag van de Vermiste Kinderen 2025

Remembering children who have gone missing, and those who have been found.
25 May is widely known as Missing Children’s Day, with the forget-me-not flower as its emblem. In 2001, 25 May was first formally recognized as International Missing Children’s Day (IMCD), thanks to a joint effort on the part of Missing Children Europe and the European Commission (ICMEC). Since 2009, IMCD is been promoting by disseminating a unified global message, to commemorate IMCD, acknowledging the need for a harmonized response to protect vulnerable children.
