Stormseizoen 2024-2025 is het elfde Europese stormseizoen op rij waarin de stormen een eigen naam krijgen.

De winter is een van de vier seizoenen in de gematigde en polaire streken.

Elk jaar is de Noordzee rond deze tijd het koudst, maar tegenwoordig koelt het zeewater minder sterk af dan vroeger.
