This press conference was held on April 7, 2021, shortly after a scientific seminar announcing the first results from the Muon g-2 experiment at Fermilab. These long-awaited results showed fundamental particles called muons behaving in a way that is not predicted by scientists’ best theory, the Standard Model of particle physics.
