The Forum will take place in the context of sharply increasing humanitarian needs, changing geopolitical realities and a shrinking humanitarian space.

The 2024 edition of the European Humanitarian Forum will be co-hosted by the European Commission and Belgium in its capacity as Presidency of the Council of the EU. The event will offer an opportunity to further strengthen the cooperation and partnership among countries affected by crises, donors, international stakeholders, the EU, and its Member States. Through high-level discussions, political debates and brainstorming sessions, the Forum will serve to jointly put forward innovative, sustainable, and efficient approaches to address current challenges.
