Annual EU Day Against Impunity / Europese Dag tegen Straffeloosheid 2024 (TV webcast)
The 23rd of May marks the annual EU Day against Impunity for genocide, crimes against humanity and war crimes. Under the auspices of the Presidency of the Council of the EU in cooperation with the European Commission, the Genocide Network and Eurojust, this initiative aims to raise awareness of the most heinous crimes of genocide, crimes against humanity and war crimes.
On 23 May 2024 from 14:00-16:30 CEST, the Belgian Presidency of the Council, European Commission, Eurojust and the Genocide Network will mark the 9th EU Day Against Impunity for Genocide, Crimes against Humanity and War Crimes with a livestreamed webinar. The 9th EU Day Against Impunity will be devoted to commemorating the 30th anniversary of the 1994 genocide against the Tutsi in Rwanda.
