Verjaardagsfeestje:
A3 ging naar de verjaardag, in de vorm van een barbecue, van z’n stiefdochter geweest; toevallig op de eerste dag tijdens de COVID-19 crisis waarop dit soort samenscholingen weer zijn toegestaan in Nederland.
Het evenement vond plaats in Koog aan de Zaan, dus werd er gereisd met het openbaar vervoer waar het dragen van een mondkapje verplicht is geworden.

Crew Dragon Demo-2 (officially known as SpaceX Demo-2) will be the first crewed test flight of the Crew Dragon spacecraft, scheduled for launch to the International Space Station on 27 May 2020 at 20:33:33 UTC. Demo-2 will be the first crewed orbital spaceflight launched from the United States since the final Space Shuttle mission, STS-135, in 2011. Crew Dragon Demo-2 will also be the first two-person orbital spaceflight launched from the United States since STS-4 in 1982.
Wednesday’s (27-05-2020) Launch of the NASA/SpaceX Demo-2 MIssion has been scrubbed due to weather.

Death of George Floyd:
The death of George Floyd, an African-American man, occurred in Minneapolis on May 25, 2020, when Derek Chauvin, a Caucasian Minneapolis police officer, knelt on Floyd’s neck for 8 minutes and 46 seconds, with 2 minutes and 53 seconds of that occurring after Floyd was unresponsive, according to the criminal complaint filed against Chauvin. Floyd was handcuffed and lying face down on the road, while Chauvin had his knee on his neck. The three other arresting officers were identified as Thomas K. Lane, Tou Thao, and J. Alexander Kueng. Officer Kueng held Floyd’s back while Lane held his legs, and Thao stood nearby and looked on. The four officers were fired the next day.

Death of Rayshard Brooks:
Rayshard Brooks, a 27-year-old black man, was shot and killed by an Atlanta Police Department officer on the evening of June 12, 2020. Brooks had resisted arrest and wrested a taser as he wrestled on the ground with two police officers. During a foot chase, Brooks fired the taser at one of the officers, who then shot Brooks in the back with his sidearm.
Video of the incident went viral. Atlanta Chief of Police Erika Shields resigned the next day, saying she wanted to help rebuild trust in the community. Protestors later burned down the Wendy’s where the shooting had taken place.
