  • European State of the Climate 2025 – publication

    The European State of the Climate (ESOTC) 2025 report, compiled by the Copernicus Climate Change Service (C3S) at ECMWF, and the World Meteorological Organization (WMO) provides descriptions and analyses of climate conditions in Europe in 2025, covering variables from across the Earth system, key events and their impacts, and a discussion of climate policy and action with a focus on biodiversity.

    In April 2025, the United Nations General Assembly designated 29 April as the International Day in Memory of the Victims of Earthquakes inviting all Member States, organizations of the United Nations system and other relevant international organizations to collaborate on the commemoration.

  • #LaatZeBlijven Kerkklokken luiden voor 420 gewortelde kinderen in Nederland

    Op woensdag 29 april 2026 van 16:20 tot 16:25 luiden meer dan 700 klokken door heel Nederland voor gewortelde kinderen die in onzekerheid leven over hun toekomst in Nederland, daarmee is het oorspronkelijke doel van 420 klokken – één klok voor ieder geworteld kind in Nederland – ruim overstegen.
