Als nazaten van genocide, verdrijving en onderdrukking voelt een groep Armeense, Joodse, en Palestijnse Nederlanders zich geschoffeerd door de Nederlandse houding, die wil dicteren wie en op welke manier mogen worden herdacht, en sluit zich aan bij de alternatieve herdenking op 3 mei 2024 omdat zij zich niet welkom voelt op de dodenherdenking.
