A Greenpeace Review and Ranking of Public Transport Ticket Prices and Availability in 30 European Countries and their Capitals.

The second edition is an updated version of a Greenpeace analysis from 2023 and examines the changes that have since occurred in ticket prices, the availability and scope of long-term public transport tickets, inclusivity and VAT rates on domestic public transport in Europe. The 2026 version also reveals which countries and capitals have fared best and worst since 2023, both in the individual criteria and overall.
