DESCRIPTION:Reporters Without Borders (RSF) annual awards ceremony to honor notable journalists and media outlets from around the world. \nRSF will present awards to journalists and media outlets in the following categories: Courage\, Impact\, Independence\, Lucas Dolega – SAIF Photo Award\, and Mohamed Maïga – African Investigative Journalism Award. RSF USA advisory board member Lulu Garcia-Navarro\, an award-winning journalist\, co-host of The Interview from the New York Times Magazine\, and an on-air contributor to CNN\, will host the ceremony. Michel Martin\, an Emmy-winning journalist and host of NPR’s Morning Edition\, will deliver a keynote address. Aïssa Maïga\, a renowned French actress\, will present the new award made in memory of her father and the courageous Malian journalist\, Mohamed Maïga.
