SUMMARY:#OceanDecade UN Decade of Ocean Science for Sustainable Development
DESCRIPTION:The UN Decade of Ocean Science for Sustainable Development (UNDOS) is a United Nations Decade that runs from 2021 to 2030\, with a vision of “the science we need for the ocean we want”. \nUNDOS offers a framework to strengthen connections and weave partnerships between all communities working to study\, conserve\, and sustainably use the ocean and its resources. The Decade will boost scientific research in this area. Environmental\, social\, and governance (ESG) research in relationship to oceans tackles fundamental questions of “who gets what?” (justice and allocation)\, “who gets to decide?” (democracy and power)\, “how are current systems maintained?” (architecture and agency)\, and “how do these systems change?” (in the present: agency\, adaptiveness and reflexivity; and in the future: anticipation and imagination). Scholars of ESG say that their research is instrumental in addressing governance-related needs of UNDOS. \nFirst\, it can identify salient frames for ocean problems that trigger policy action. \nSecond\, it can inform stakeholder involvement by mapping powerful and marginalized interests and suggesting pathways towards more inclusive participation. \nThird\, it can support viable and effective ocean solutions based on insights into political support coalitions and governance design. \nMainstreaming of governance research into ocean science has also been recommended: The ESG community can facilitate this mainstreaming by enhancing knowledge cumulation around ocean issues within the network; engaging more strongly in the production of actionable and action-oriented knowledge; and seeking integration into inter- and transdisciplinary ocean research. Sub-topics where ESG with regards to ocean governance can be applied are for example governance issues around deep sea mining\, ocean acidification\, marine biodiversity. \nLinks:\nUN Decade of Ocean Science for Sustainable Development \n2025 UN Ocean Conference \nStop diepzeemijnbouw voor het begint / Stop diepzeemijnbouw : Noorwegen\, zeg NEE tegen diepzeemijnbouw! – petities \n#30thSessionCouncil #DeepSeabed #TheArea #UNCLOS 30th Session of the International Seabed Authority Part I (TV ISA Web TV) \nVPRO #Tegenlicht : de strijd om de diepzee (TV internet / NPO 2) \nLive session with Free Range Ocean

SUMMARY:Decade of Action for Road Safety 2021-2030
DESCRIPTION:In September 2020\, the UN General Assembly adopted resolution A/RES/74/299 “Improving global road safety”\, proclaiming the Decade of Action for Road Safety 2021-2030\, with the ambitious target of preventing at least 50% of road traffic deaths and injuries by 2030. \nWHO and the UN regional commissions\, in cooperation with other partners in the UN Road Safety Collaboration\, have developed a Global Plan for the Decade of Action\, which was released in October 2021. The Global Plan aligns with the Stockholm Declaration\, by emphasizing the importance of a holistic approach to road safety\, and calling on continued improvements in the design of roads and vehicles; enhancement of laws and law enforcement; and provision of timely\, life-saving emergency care for the injured. The Global Plan also reflects the Stockholm Declaration’s promotion of policies to promote walking\, cycling and using public transport as inherently healthy and environmentally sound modes of transport. Progress made during the previous Decade of Action for Road Safety 2011-2020 has laid the foundation for accelerated action in the years ahead. Among achievements are inclusion of road safety on the global health and development agenda\, broad dissemination of scientific guidance on what works\, strengthening of partnerships and networks\, and mobilization of resources. This new Decade of Action provides an opportunity for harnessing the successes and lessons of previous years and building upon them to save more lives. \nLinks:\nDecade of Action for Road Safety 2021-2030 \n#WDoR2023 World Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Victims 2023

SUMMARY:Day of Charity / Dag van de Liefdadigheid 2026
DESCRIPTION:In the 2030 Agenda on Sustainable Development adopted in September 2015\, the United Nations recognizes that eradicating poverty in all its forms and dimensions\, including extreme poverty\, is the greatest global challenge and an indispensable requirement for sustainable development. \nThe Agenda also calls for a spirit of strengthened global solidarity\, focused in particular on the needs of the poorest and most vulnerable. It also acknowledges the role of the diverse private sector\, ranging from micro-enterprises to cooperatives to multinationals\, and that of civil society organizations and philanthropic organizations in the implementation of the new Agenda. The 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) set forth in the Agenda can be grouped into six critical areas: people\, planet\, prosperity\, peace\, and partnership. They have the potential to transform our lives and our planet by providing the framework needed for philanthropic institutions to enable all people to contribute to the betterment of our world. \nLinks:\nDay of Charity – 5 September

SUMMARY:Day for South-South Cooperation / Dag voor Zuid-Zuid samenwerking 2026
DESCRIPTION:South-South cooperation is a manifestation of solidarity among peoples and countries of the South that contributes to their national well-being\, their national and collective self-reliance and the attainment of internationally agreed development goals\, including the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. \nSouth-South cooperation is accelerating progress towards the implementation and achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). South-South cooperation is done through a broad framework of collaboration among countries of the South in the political\, economic\, social\, cultural\, environmental and technical domains. Involving two or more developing countries\, it can take place on a bilateral\, regional\, intraregional or interregional basis. Through South-South collaboration\, developing countries share knowledge\, skills\, expertise and resources to meet their development goals through concerted efforts. Triangular cooperation is collaboration in which traditional donor countries and multilateral organizations facilitate South-South initiatives through the provision of funding\, training\, management and technological systems as well as other forms of support. The United Nations Day for South-South Cooperation celebrates the economic\, social and political developments made in recent years by regions and countries in the South and highlights United Nations efforts to work on technical cooperation among developing countries. \nIn 2026\, the Day is observed under the theme “Solidarity Rising: Global Alliance for Inclusive and Innovative Development.” The theme highlights how South-South and triangular cooperation can help countries connect proven solutions with the partnerships\, expertise and support needed to scale them. Across the Global South\, countries are increasingly sharing solutions in areas such as renewable energy\, digital innovation\, public health\, sustainable agriculture\, disaster preparedness\, education and public services. These exchanges help countries adapt successful approaches to their own needs and accelerate progress toward the Sustainable Development Goals. The 2026 observance will also mark the launch of the Global Alliance for South-South and Triangular Cooperation\, a voluntary\, UN-facilitated platform convened by the United Nations Office for South-South Cooperation (UNOSSC). The Alliance is designed to connect country priorities with expertise\, partnerships and catalytic support\, helping turn shared experience into practical action. \nLinks:\nDay for South-South Cooperation – 12 September

SUMMARY:Day of Democracy 2026
DESCRIPTION:The International Day of Democracy provides an opportunity to review the state of democracy in the world. Democracy is as much a process as a goal\, and only with the full participation of and support by the international community\, national governing bodies\, civil society and individuals\, can the ideal of democracy be made into a reality to be enjoyed by everyone\, everywhere. \nThe values of freedom\, respect for human rights and the principle of holding periodic and genuine elections by universal suffrage are essential elements of democracy. In turn\, democracy provides the natural environment for the protection and effective realization of human rights. At each of the key moments that have marked contemporary history\, UNESCO has supported the peaceful development of societies by contributing to the construction and consolidation of democracy\, and the development of democratic institutions\, especially in times of transition. \nGovernance systems can create meaningful opportunities for people to influence the decisions that affect their lives. Through dialogue\, collaboration\, and working to understand different points of view we ensure that no one is left behind. Marking the International Day of Democracy 2026 United Nations Secretary-General António Guterres emphasized “the importance of bringing together people from across societies to enrich decision making\, foster trust\, and build more peaceful\, inclusive\, and resilient societies.” The United Nations Democracy Fund\, United Nations Office for Partnerships will host an event on the International Day of Democracy on Tuesday 15th September at UN Headquarters to highlight how deliberative democracy can foster greater agency and ownership by bringing diverse voices into decision-making. The event will reflect on experiences from citizens’ assemblies across the globe and explore how participation\, dialogue and inclusion can strengthen trust and contribute to more responsive\, accountable and effective governance. \nLinks:\nDay of Democracy \nInternational Day of Democracy

SUMMARY:Day for Interventional Cardiology 2026
DESCRIPTION:Interventional cardio-angiology improves health\, increases life expectancy and improves the quality of life. \nThe first coronary angioplasty was performed by Dr. Andreas Grüntzig on 16 September 1977. Since then angioplasty has been the procedure that has saved the most grams of myocardium at risk worldwide. In September 2022\, the General Assembly decided to proclaim 16 September as International Day for Interventional Cardiology and invited stakeholders to observe annually the International Day for Interventional Cardiology in an appropriate manner and in accordance with national priorities\, in order to raise public awareness of cardiovascular diseases and procedures\, related complications\, as well as prevention and care\, including through education and the mass media. \nLinks:\nDay for Interventional Cardiology

SUMMARY:Dag voor het Behoud van de Ozonlaag / Day for the Preservation of the Ozone Layer 2026
\nLinks:\nDay for the Preservation of the Ozone Layer\, 16 September \nWorld Ozone Day 2026 \nWereld Ozondag: overgang naar gebruik en monitoring van natuurlijke koudemiddelen

SUMMARY:General Assembly of the United Nations High-level Meetings of the 81st Session (TV UN WebTV)
DESCRIPTION:The 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA or GA) will once again convene world leaders to revitalize global cooperation\, give a critical push to the Sustainable Development Goals and drive collective action for peace\, dignity and equality on a healthy planet. \nTwo key platforms will spotlight action and solutions: the flagship SDG Media Zone produced by the United Nations (UN) Department of Global Communications with dynamic interviews and panel discussions on SDG solutions held from 21–25 September; and the Goals Lounge\, convened by the UN Deputy Secretary-General and hosted by the UN Office for Partnerships from 14-25 September\, featuring unscripted dialogues\, deep dives into vital issues and interactive experiences. Events are live streamed on UN WebTV. \nThe UNGA is one of the six principal organs of the UN\, serving as its main deliberative\, policymaking\, and representative organ. Currently in its 81st session\, its powers\, composition\, functions\, and procedures are set out in Chapter IV of the United Nations Charter. The United Nations General Assembly is responsible for the United Nations budget\, appointing the non-permanent members to the Security Council\, appointing the secretary-general of the United Nations\, receiving reports from other parts of the United Nations System\, and making recommendations through resolutions. It also establishes numerous subsidiary organs to advance or assist in its broad mandate. \nThe UNGA is the only United Nations organ where all member states have equal representation. The UNGA meets under its president or the United Nations secretary-general in annual sessions at the General Assembly Building\, within the United Nations headquarters in New York City. The primary phase of these meetings generally runs from September through part of January until all issues are addressed\, which is often before the next session starts. It can also reconvene for special and emergency special sessions. The first session was convened on 10 January 1946 in the Methodist Central Hall in London and included representatives of the 51 founding nations. \nLinks:\nGeneral Assembly High-level Week 2026 \nHigh-level Meetings of the 81st Session \nDe VN afgeschreven? SUMMARY:World Maritime Day 2026
DESCRIPTION:International shipping transports more than 80 per cent of global trade to peoples and communities all over the world\, shipping is the most efficient and cost-effective method of international transportation for most goods; it provides a dependable\, low-cost means of transporting goods globally\, facilitating commerce and helping to create prosperity among nations and peoples. \nThe world relies on a safe\, secure and efficient international shipping industry\, which is an essential component of any programme for future sustainable green economic growth in a sustainable manner. The promotion of sustainable shipping and sustainable maritime development is one of the major priorities of IMO. Energy efficiency\, new technology and innovation\, maritime education and training\, maritime security\, maritime traffic management and the development of maritime infrastructure all depend on the development and implementation of global standards. These standards underpin IMO’s commitment to provide the institutional framework necessary for a green and sustainable global maritime transportation system. \nThe 2026–2027 World Maritime Day theme\, “From Policy to Practice: Powering Maritime Excellence\,” places a spotlight on one of the most fundamental challenges in global maritime governance: ensuring that the rules developed at the international level translate into real-world improvements. For nearly 80 years\, the International Maritime Organization (IMO) has built a comprehensive body of conventions\, codes and guidelines to promote safe\, secure\, efficient and environmentally sound shipping. The true value of this framework\, however\, is realized only when it is effectively implemented\, enforced and embedded in day-to-day maritime operations. For the first time\, the IMO World Maritime Day theme will run for a biennium. The 2026–2027 theme highlights IMO’s clear commitment to putting policies into practice by providing technical assistance\, training\, capacity-building\, knowledge sharing and other essential services to support Member States and partners across the maritime sector. \nLinks:\nWorld Maritime Day

SUMMARY:Day for the Total Elimination of Nuclear Weapons 2026
DESCRIPTION:The General Assembly commemorates 26 September as the International Day for the Total Elimination of Nuclear Weapons\, this Day provides an occasion for the world community to reaffirm its commitment to global nuclear disarmament as a priority. \nIt provides an opportunity to educate the public – and their leaders – about the real benefits of eliminating such weapons\, and the social and economic costs of perpetuating them. Achieving global nuclear disarmament is one of the oldest goals of the United Nations. It was the subject of the General Assembly’s first resolution in 1946\, which established the Atomic Energy Commission\, which was dissolved in 1952\, with a mandate to make specific proposals for the control of nuclear energy and the elimination of atomic weapons and all other major weapons adaptable to mass destruction. The United Nations has been at the forefront of many major diplomatic efforts to advance nuclear disarmament since. In 1959\, the General Assembly endorsed the objective of general and complete disarmament. In 1978\, the first Special Session of the General Assembly Devoted to Disarmament further recognized that nuclear disarmament should be the priority objective in the field of disarmament. Every United Nations Secretary-General has actively promoted this goal. \nThe General Assembly declared the International Day in December 2013\, in its resolution 68/32 as a follow-up to the high-level meeting of the General Assembly on nuclear disarmament held on 26 September 2013\, in New York. This was the latest in a series of efforts by the General Assembly to raise public awareness and to seek deeper engagement on nuclear disarmament matters. In 2009\, the General Assembly had declared 29 August as the International Day against Nuclear Tests (resolution 64/35). In resolution 68/32\, the General Assembly called for the “urgent commencement of negotiations in the Conference on Disarmament of a comprehensive convention on nuclear weapons to prohibit their possession\, development\, production\, acquisition\, testing\, stockpiling\, transfer and use or threat of use\, and to provide for their destruction.” \nIn 2014\, in its resolution 69/58\, the General Assembly further expressed its desire to commemorate the Day\, and requested the Secretary-General and the President of the General Assembly to make all arrangements necessary to commemorate the International Day and promote it\, including by convening an annual meeting of the Assembly to provide a platform for the promotion of these activities. The General Assembly repeated these requests and call in subsequent years in resolutions  70/34\, 71/71\, 72/251\, 73/40\, 74/54\, 75/45\, 76/36\, 77/47 and 78/27. The International Day for the Total Elimination of Nuclear Weapons has been observed annually since 2014. Pursuant to the resolutions of the General Assembly\, Member States\, the United Nations system and civil society\, including non-governmental organizations\, academia\, parliamentarians\, the mass media and individuals are encouraged to commemorate and promote the International Day through enhancing public awareness and education about the threat posed to humanity by nuclear weapons and the necessity for their total elimination. To observe the International Day\, the United Nations is supporting events both in New York and Geneva. United Nations Information Centres around the world are encouraged to raise awareness to the observance of International Day for the Total Elimination of Nuclear Weapons. \nYet\, today nearly around 12\,100 nuclear weapons remain. Countries possessing such weapons have well-funded\, long-term plans to modernize their nuclear arsenals. More than half of the world’s population still lives in countries that either have such weapons or are members of nuclear alliances. While the number of deployed nuclear weapons has appreciably declined since the height of the Cold War\, not one nuclear weapon has been physically destroyed pursuant to a treaty. In addition\, no nuclear disarmament negotiations are currently underway. Meanwhile\, the doctrine of nuclear deterrence persists as an element in the security policies of all possessor states and many of their allies. The international arms-control framework that contributed to international security since the Cold War\, acted as a brake on the use of nuclear weapons and advanced nuclear disarmament\, has come under increasing strain. Most recently\, on 2 August 2019\, the United States’ withdrawal spelled the end of the Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces Treaty\, through with the United States and the Russian Federation had previously committed to eliminating an entire class of nuclear missiles. \nFrustration has been growing amongst Member States regarding what is perceived as the slow pace of nuclear disarmament. This frustration has been put into sharper focus with growing concerns about the catastrophic humanitarian consequences of the use of even a single nuclear weapon\, let alone a regional or global nuclear war. Commemorating this Day at the United Nations is especially important\, given its universal membership and its long experience in grappling with nuclear disarmament issues. It is the right place to address one of humanity’s greatest challenges; achieving the peace and security of a world without nuclear weapons. \nLinks:\nDay for the Total Elimination of Nuclear Weapons \nTreaty on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons – adopted (2017) 2024 \nKrijgen we meer nucleaire proliferatie?

SUMMARY:#WorldTourismDay 2026 #WTD2026
DESCRIPTION:The World Tourism Day is celebrated on September 27\, 2023. September 27 was chosen as on that day in 1970\, the Statutes of the United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) were adopted. \nTourism is one of the world’s most important economic sectors. It employs one in every ten people on Earth and provides livelihoods to hundreds of millions more. For some countries\, it can represent over 20 percent of their GDP. It allows people to experience some of the world’s cultural and natural riches and brings people closer to each other\, highlighting our common humanity. Tourism is an essential pillar of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and the commitment to the Sustainable Development Goals\, especially goals 8\, 12\, and 14. It serves as a first entry point to the world of work\, especially for women\, youth\, migrant workers\, and rural populations in developing and least developed countries (LDCs). Women represent a majority of the tourism sector workforce\, while half of that workforce is under 25 years of age. Moreover\, in many parts of the world\, the protection of biodiversity and conservation rely heavily on the tourism sector and the revenue it generates. \nThe constant growth of the tourism sector during the last six decades reflects more progressive access to tourism thanks to the decline in the cost of transport and the world-wide growth of the middle classes. The recognition of the right to holidays in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights\, and the improved adoption of labor rights in many countries have also supported its development. These factors also serve as a backdrop for the resilience shown by tourism in recent years. The sector has experienced almost uninterrupted growth despite challenges such as the global economic crisis and natural disasters. \nThe many important contributions of tourism encouraged the UNWTO to institute World Tourism Day in a meeting that took place in Spain\, commencing the first celebration of the observance in the year 1980. This date was chosen to coincide with an important milestone in world tourism: the 10th anniversary of the adoption of the UNWTO Statutes on 27 September 1970. Afterwards\, during its 70th session in 2015\, the United Nations General Assembly designated 2017 as the International Year of Sustainable Tourism for Development (resolution A/RES/70/193)\, in which it encouraged support for sustainable tourism as a means of promoting and accelerating sustainable development\, especially poverty eradication. \nLinks:\nWorld Tourism Day

SUMMARY:#AccessToInfoDay Day for Universal Access to Information / #RightToKnow Day 2026
DESCRIPTION:The International Day for Universal Access to Information (IDUAI) was proclaimed on 15 October 2019 at the 74th UN General Assembly to be held on 28 September\, following the adoption of the 38 C/Resolution 57. \nInitially the day (commonly called the Access to Information Day) was designated by the UNESCO General Conference. The decision to celebrate and promote 28 September as the International Right to Know Day was taken on the last day of a Freedom of Information litigation conference held 26-28 September 2002 in Sofia\, Bulgaria. Representatives of Freedom of Information (FOI) organizations from 15 countries took part – Albania\, Armenia\, Bosnia and Herzegovina\, Bulgaria\, Georgia\, Hungary\, India\, Latvia\, Macedonia\, Mexico\, Moldova\, Rumania\, Slovakia\, South Africa\, and USA\, as well as representatives of international organizations active in the FOI field. On 28 September 2002\, the FOI activists established the International Freedom of Information Advocates Network (FOIAnet)\, Access to Information Programme (AIP) being its co-founder and active member. The members of the newly found FOIAnet agreed to collaborate in promotion of the individual right of access to information and open\, transparent governance and adopted a Memorandum setting forth the goals and activities of the network. Today\, the members of the FOIAnet are over 200 organizations and civil groups from around the globe which exchange knowledge and experience and undertake international initiatives for better freedom of information standards. FOI activists around the globe organize a variety of events and initiatives on 28 September to raise awareness on the right of information and to campaign for open\, democratic societies in which there is full citizen empowerment and participation in government. \nConferences\, trainings\, competitions\, awards ceremonies\, rock and pop concerts\, theatre performances\, movies\, launch of info-requesting campaigns and new web sites\, focused publications\, etc. aim to further promote this fundamental human right and encourage citizens\, journalists and NGOs in their search for government held information. In some countries\, the Right to Know Day elaborated in Right to Know Weeks. Music has been composed especially for the occasion. In November 2015\, UNESCO declared September 28th as the “International Day for Universal Access to Information” and was first held on 28 September 2016.The UNESCO resolution creating the day was pushed by African civil society groups seeking greater information transparency. Currently only 17 African Union me mber states have adopted national right to information laws\, and groups like Open Government Partnership hope that the recognition of the right to information will “provide an important platform for all stakeholders at national level to discuss the adoption and effective implementation of national right to information laws in line with continental and international standards and obligations.” However\, African civil society groups like MISA Zimbabwe have noted that states like Zimbabwe which do have Right to Information laws still have a long way to go to ensure they improve governance. In 2016\, MISA Zimbabwe used Access to Information Day to criticise Zimbabwe’s poor information transparency provisions\, noting that\, “While Zimbabwe was one of the first African countries to adopt an access to information law in the form of the Access to Information and Protection of Privacy Act (AIPPA)\, the law in question is a far cry from its purported import and impact.” \nLinks:\nDay for Universal Access to Information \nRight To Know Day

SUMMARY:Day of Awareness on Food Loss and Waste Reduction 2026
DESCRIPTION:Day of Awareness of Food Loss and Waste is a United Nations-sanctioned designated awareness day observed annually on 29 September with the goal to raise awareness of the importance of food loss and waste\, this day is co-convened by the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) and the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP)\, whereas\, the day’s events are jointly led by these two organizations. \nThe main aim of the day is to raise awareness to the importance of food loss and waste related problems and their possible solutions at all levels\, and also to promote global efforts and collective action towards meeting the Sustainable Development Goal Target 12.3\, which targets to halve per capita food waste at the retail and consumer level by 2030\, and reduce food losses along the food production and supply chains. It has been calculated that an average of 74 kg of food per person is wasted each year worldwide. According to some estimates\, 1.4 billion hectares of agricultural land are used annually to produce food that will eventually be discarded; 14% of produced food (worth approximately 400 billion dollars) is lost between harvest and sale\, while 17% of global agrifood production is wasted. In addition\, food loss and waste related problems contribute to the emission of greenhouse gases leading environmental detriment as well. \nThe seventh observance of the International Day of Awareness of Food Loss and Waste (IDAFLW) is approaching\, now is the time for everyone to get involved and take action! The 2026 theme will focus on the “Transformative Potential of Reducing Food Loss and Waste”. Tackling FLW\, in fact\, can generate a triple win: improving food security and nutrition\, reducing pressure on natural resources and greenhouse gas emissions\, and enhancing productivity and economic growth. \nLinks:\nDay of Awareness on Food Loss and Waste Reduction

SUMMARY:Translation Day / Dag van het Vertalen 2026
DESCRIPTION:Translation Day is meant as an opportunity to pay tribute to the work of language professionals\, which plays an important role in bringing nations together\, facilitating dialogue\, understanding and cooperation\, contributing to development and strengthening world peace and security. \nTransposition of a literary or scientific work\, including technical work\, from one language into another language\, professional translation\, including translation proper\, interpretation and terminology\, is indispensable to preserving clarity\, a positive climate and productiveness in international public discourse and interpersonal communication. Thus\, on 24 May 2017\, the General Assembly adopted resolution 71/288 on the role of language professionals in connecting nations and fostering peace\, understanding and development\, and declared 30 September as International Translation Day. 30 September celebrates the feast of St. Jerome\, the Bible translator\, who is considered the patron saint of translators. Languages\, with their complex implications for identity\, communication\, social integration\, education and development\, are of strategic importance for people and the planet. There is growing awareness that languages play a vital role in development\, in ensuring cultural diversity and intercultural dialogue\, but also in attaining quality education for all and strengthening cooperation\, in building inclusive knowledge societies and preserving cultural heritage\, and in mobilizing political will for applying the benefits of science and technology to sustainable development. An essential factor in harmonious communication among peoples\, multilingualism is also regarded by the United Nations General Assembly as a core value of the Organization. By promoting tolerance\, multilingualism ensures effective and increased participation of all in the Organization’s work\, as well as greater effectiveness\, better performance and improved transparency. \nLinks:\nTranslation Day \nTranslation: from one world to another
